FEB 2026 BOARD MINUTES

February Bored Meeting

BBL Clubhouse

Meeting started at 7:17 with a toast to Dan and our BBL Clubhouse!

Attendees: Bryan E, Andy M, Ray G, Jer H, Rob W, Roxanne W

Bockfest

Competition website is active. We have 17 entries so far. Rob will do a social push. Andy will do some more for surrounding clubs. Judges & stewards needed too. 

Bockfest Committee is supporting us again for the pro judging. We'll use similar medals to last year, unless the committee approves custom versions that can be made and distributed after the fact. 

Upcoming Competitions

CMI All American is Feb 7

Bluegrass Cup is Feb 21

Bockfest Homebrew is Feb 28 (at BBL Clubhouse)

Bockfest Pro is Mar 7 (and MLH)

Missing Linck

Bret provided a new contact for planning and logistics. Focus is homebrewing and science. Roxanne is meeting them for more info. Festival is June 6. We'll plan to use BAP for the comp.

Beer and Sweat

August 14-15 at Holiday Inn Eastgate. Same discount code: BSK

Bryan will register the comp with BJCP and reconnect with Lemon Grenade about a possible logo and branding for the homebrew fest)

FB post was made with a save the date. 

Need to do an email campaign for B&S save date with the notion that we're positioning it as a separate comp (B&S) and event (Cincy Homebrew Fest).

Ray working on securing Sam Adams as main sponsor again. 

Future Meetings

Feb - Name that Beer - featuring random beers we found at the Clubhouse

March - change to 21st and do a brewout at the Clubhouse!

April - 

May - Big Brew at Wooden Cask 

May - Bloat Open at Esoteric

Membership

Membership Drive for 2026 via emails, slack and FB

Approx 15 paid members so far

The membership app we used in '25 cut their free limit from 50 to 10. Andy has a new idea, and still working on other options.
