MAR 2026 BOARD MINUTES
March Bored Meeting
BBL Clubhouse
Meeting started at 7:17 with a toast

Bockfest
Competition for homebrew was a success with some local winners and multiple national winners. List was posted, would be good to spread around further, and post on our FB, email, etc
BBL and Bockfest were profiled by Fox 19 with FIVE LIVE SPOTS on the morning news aired related to homebrewing and judging.
Bockfest Committee is supporting us again for the pro judging. We'll use similar medals to last year, unless the committee approves custom versions that can be made and distributed after the fact.
Judging will be 10am at Moerlein Lager House, with awards for both comps after, around 4ish.
General News
We'll want to get some cleaning done including taps before the March meeting/brewout.
Keith P has been working with someone to help get the kitchen cleaned up.

Bret provided a new contact for planning and logistics. Focus is homebrewing and science. Roxanne is meeting them for more info. Festival is June 6. We'll plan to use BAP for the comp.
Beer and Sweat
August 14-15 at Holiday Inn Eastgate. Same discount code: BSK
Bryan will register the comp with BJCP and reconnect with Lemon Grenade about a possible logo and branding for the homebrew fest, along with making contacts for sponsors.
FB post was made with a save the date.
Need to do an email campaign for B&S save date with the notion that we're positioning it as a separate comp (B&S) and event (Cincy Homebrew Fest).
Ray working on securing Sam Adams as main sponsor again - things are looking good.
Future Meetings
March - change to 21st and do a brewout at the Clubhouse!
